Alyssa started Preschool! She loves it and is so happy she is now big like McKell and can go to school. She wasn't too happy that McKell wasn't home from school when she got home, though. My super cute, wonderful with kids, energetic friend is doing a preschool in her home. It is going to be awesome, she has so many great ideas.
Today was the first day of jeans. It is only going to be in the upper 60's today so I thought we should finally get the jeans on, the kids anyway. I have a very strong opinion of jeans, for some reason. I don't understand why people wear them in the summer. I love a good pair as much as the next guy, but you have all winter long. The worst is in 100+ degrees of hot dry St George summer and you see cute, skinny ladies in jeans. What?! Anyway, I love fall and am excited for the great clothes, wonderful colors, and great weather- not excited for the winter to follow though.
Love this picture of Nate and his silly smile he only does when he puts these glasses on. He will walk around the room and make sure everyone gets a look at him while wearing these.

Hey Nicole, I just popped in after a long time. How are you!? That's so funny what you say about the jeans thing. I'm the same way. By the end of the winter I'm so sick of them that I want to take advantage of the short amount of time that I get to wear shorts and capris. Fall weather is here too, and I've pulled out the jeans for my family as well. Glad to see your family is doing well.

I haven't worn jeans all summer - not once, so I guess I'm doing good by your fashion standards. Even sadder to me than trading shorts for jeans is not being able to wear sandals and flip flops anymore! I HATE giving those up!
jeans? what are jeans? it's way too hot to even think about jeans here. yuck. to be honest though, sometimes i miss wearing them, and my other cute winter clothes. that's why we're coming to utah for christmas! so i can wear my boots and jeans! :)
Alyssa looks so grown up! What a doll. I love to pull out the jeans in the fall. I loved getting to know the kids again when you came to visit.
I love fall in Iowa too. In fact we are missing all the fun fall stuff there is to do there and the weather of course - it's perfect... The weather here is crazy - one day it's 78 and the next I'm wearing ear warmers at Austin's soccer game. Nate is so cute in those glasses.

I wore jeans pretty much ALL summer long. But that's because it's in the 50's here in Alaska. It was a necessity! Pretty sad, huh?

mmm... I'm wearing jeans right now... and I live in Houston! (o.k. partially because they are one of my only things that fits me! oh how I love afterbirth when you don't want to wear maternity, but NOTHING else fits)
