3 Months Old

Our little baby boy is 3 months old. My good friend- Jen, who takes great pictures, took some fun pictures of him. He is such a fun baby and is very interested in what is going on- when he is awake that is.
We have been going to this forest place this summer and making a fire and hanging out and he does not like it there. I don't know what it is but he cries every time we go- so Nate might not be an out doors guy.
Nate is very into his sisters and perks right up when he hears their voices. He loves to be talked to but doesn't really like to be sung to. He is getting so big and time is going sooooo fast.
We are going to bless him in Utah this week. Phil's whole family is going to be able to be there which will be nice. I finally found a cute little blessing outfit- its not all white but it is very, very cute.
Nate you are a very fun baby and we have really enjoyed your first three months!

M...M...GOOD

I felt very self efficiant the last few days because of our wonderful little garden. I will post a picture when a get a chance to take one with Phil and the girls picking our good eats. We had tomatoes and squash for dinner tonight and have been eating our very, very yummy green beans the past week. I can't wait for our cucumbers- Phil said we should have about 100 of them. McKell planted some pumpkins which are coming along as well. It has been a lot of fun doing this- actually for Phil to do the garden, it was our agreement I have a baby this spring and he plant a garden and we both held up our end.
McKells favorite thing is to go and pick flowers from our yard and make arrangements with Phil- yep Phil does it with her and they turn out beautiful each time. So if he gets bored with being a doc he can always fall back on his flower skills!
Phil and I also painted our bathroom we completed it in a couple of hours after putting it off for a year. It is way fun to see it freshly painted- what should we do next???

07/07/07

Well it is actually a few minutes past midnight and so it is no longer July 7th but I needed to document it anyway. Today our little angel baby Andrew Phillip would have turned 7 years old. WOW! I can't believe it has been that long. What a fun day it would have been and a grand party we would have had. His SUPER birthday and to have it be the month and year as well. Turning 7 on 7-7-07!
I wonder what he is like. His personality, his looks. I am so happy...relieved... comforted to know that we have an opportunity to live with him again. And I pray that we will live righteously enough for this opportunity.
I imagine him to be a great little missionary in heaven, teaching his great grandmother and great grandfather about the gospel.
Happy Birthday Andrew we think of you always!
And Thank you to Phil's family for visiting his grave each memorial day and sending us pictures. We wish we could be closer.

4th o' July

I love the 4th of July. I love the parades, the cute clothes you get to buy for just one day, the BBQ's, the warmth, and especially the fireworks. This year we had another great celebration and Phil even had the day off! We went to the Coralville parade in the morning and it was a hot one (at least we thought so until I talked to my mom and it was 110 degrees in St. George).
We have made some fun friends here and we all got together and had a BBQ for dinner and then we went to the fireworks. They are quite impressive for a smaller town. The kids did a few sparklers and everyone had a great time.

R.I.P.

I begged Phil for a new swing and we got it and it has been the best purchase ever. Nate spends a great amount of time in his swing- he takes all of his naps in it. I think the cusions around his head helps block out the noise of the girls. He now laughs at his reflection in the mirror and likes to look at the toys that rotate.
We had a big scare in our house a few days ago. Our wonderful, beautiful, amazingly compfy swing DIED! We tried everything- new batteries- didn't work. So luckily I paid with a credit card and took it back to Target and it was within the 90 days (like 4 days shy of 90 days) and they exchanged it. So luckily Nate didn't have to go too long without it! I am hoping he won't out grow it for a LONG while!
