SUPER Caucus

Since we live in Iowa we get to go to the super caucus. We all went- Phil, Me and the three kiddies in the stroller. McKell brought my ipod, Alyssa the Leapster, and Nate added in with a very poopie diaper. We brought snacks for the kids and friends that we would see. We got to vote for our candidate and it was a fun thing to experience. There were a TON of people there, they called in the fire chief because the room was so over capacity.
We thought it was funny that they called it a SUPER caucus and we also thought it was funny to hear the kids say caucus all night. We were ready to leave and Alyssa said "No I don't want to leave, I want to stay at the caucus." She loves any place that she can eat all the snacks she wants and play games and not have to go to bed.

I was totally thinking about you guys every time the subject of Iowa Caucus came on the news here - that's cool that you went - I didn't know you were planning on doing that...I just thought you might notice an increase in traffic or action...but I was wrong - you're quite the "Politically Responsible" bunch, aren't you?!? :)

You didn't say who you voted for. We are sorry that Mitt didn't win.

I couldn't decide if I should go and vote against Hillary -for Obama. Or go to the Repulbican caucus. Phil was doing Rep, so I went with him. The people who got up and talked about the candidates almost persuaded me to vote for John McCain but I know my mom would blow her gasget if she knew I did that- she is WAY antiwar. So I voted for good ol' Mitt

John McCain is to old. I am glad you supported Mitt. I personally think he would be the best person for the presidency. Again, that is my personal opinion and it doesn't have to do with him being Mormon. Hope you had a great Christmas.

We haven't stopped laughing at Alyssa's comment about not wanting to leave Caucus, we're dying.
