I think it might finally be winter around here. Today was our first day of cold weather. It has been a wonderful fall. I hear we might have a mild winter, I will cross my fingers.
We went to Milwaukee for Thanksgiving and it reminded us how much colder it is up there. My cousin and her family moved there the same time we left, huge bummer. Our kids got along wonderfully and we enjoyed a gourmet Thanksgiving meal made by her hubby (3 turkeys each cooked a different way, 8 pies! it was amazing!)
My cousin and I shopped the black friday sales like pros, we started at 9:30pm Thanksgiving night and went all night and got home at 8am the next day. We went to a million store and got some great deals. I think she might be wiped out for next year. Anyone want to do it with me next year?
I will be closer west so we can figure it out and plan it. We have made our decision and Phil has accepted a job in Cheyenne, Wyoming! It was a hard decision but we think it will be a great fit all around. My mom- not so happy that we didn't go with the closer offer, but after a visit during Frontier Days(a big deal in Wyoming- rodeos, country music concerts, parades, a whole week of western fun!) I'm sure she will love our decision. :) It is so great to know our next step in life. We are super excited!

Last comment from "Tyler" is from me, Kim, I didn't realize that he didn't log off.
I bet you never thought you'd be a "Wyoming Girl!" :)
How far is that from us? I think we'll be able to visit you there, it's not as far as Iowa!

Oh man I can't believe you guys are already there... Congrats to you and your amazing family!! That is where my mom was born and raised, so it can't be half bad ;)!!

Miss ya!
So great! I am jealous that Riley thinks we need to do a fellowship! Couldn't Phil talk him out of it? Oh, well, just tell them to save a job for us next year.....CONGRATS!
Cheyenne? I've driven through there and it's a horrible windy place. I guess if you are happy, but it sounds like you are settling for this because there's nothing else.
Darn it! I was hoping you'd join us here in the desert!! I'm sure you will love Wyoming though! It always feels good to have a decision like that made. Good luck with all your preparations and packing and everything! I look forward to reading posts from Cheyenne!
